Rob Locks Background In Martial Arts.
Rob Lock has been involved in Martial Arts ever since he started training twenty-eight years ago. He has been a Professional Martial Arts Instructor for eighteen years. Rob has trained under some of the Worlds top Martial Arts Legends, to mention in brief people such as Dan Inosanto, Rick Young, Paul Vunak, Larry Hartsell, Erik Paulson, Bobby Breen, Master Toddy, Master Woody, Mauricio Gomes and Alan 'Butch' White. There are many more! Rob has competed at National level in Karate Competition for many years and has fought full contact in the Thai Boxing Arena. Rob Lock has many Black Belts / Instructor Qualifications and grades in many Martial Arts. The following are a brief example;

Muay Thai Boxing. Jun Fan Gung Fu. Judo Combat Submission Wrestling.

Kali. Sankukai Karate. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Rob has travelled to Thailand and the U.S.A. to further his training and Martial Arts development. He continually researches to this day and is currently studying in depth Jun Fan Gung Fu, Filipino Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Combat Submission Wrestling.

Rob was recently appointed as a Coach under World Shootfighting Champion Erik Paulson to promote his 'Combat Submission Wrestling' in this country.

Four years ago Rob qualified with honours as a 'Clinical Sports Masseur'to a Masters level. This led him to work on the 'Gladiators' and then on to 'The Ice Warriors'.

Over the years he has coached various celebrities including 'Kerryn Sampey' the Gladiators winner and TV host 'Anne Diamonds' children to name but a few.

Rob coaches Martial Arts professionally in the day to schools throughout the Midlands. During the evenings he teaches classes and also has many private students.

Karate Begins And Ends With Humbleness.

Motivating students to reach their full potential is his number one goal. Today he invests his energies in developing students of all ages and all abilities.

Rob Takes To The Sky.	In September 2000 Rob opened a full time, purpose built Martial Arts Academy in the West Midlands. The Academy is thriving and is currently training many hundreds of students per week, with regular top Martial Arts Legends coaching at the Academy each year.
